I got the coolest package from my SP9 pal today!
Wanna see what I got?
When I opened the box, I immediately got confetti-ed. (Chris is still finding and enjoying the confetti!)
..and then found this note..
Inside the box, I found...
There was a box of some yummy smelling tea and a cat toy.
This toy looks like a hedgehog and is really cool because you can pull the string and it shakes! I gave it to Christopher today, but I think it scared him a bit when it was moving around. Baby steps..
I also found some beautiful yarn.
It is Trekking 104, which features a lot of cool blues. It is a perfect color choice for me!
She also knit a hat for me, which is really really really cool! I love it when others knit things for me!
She had put it in a really cute bag, which I didn't get on film. The bag had a card in it that said it is a Shedir Hat made with Rowan Felted Tweed yarn.
It is so soft and really cool. I am not a big fan of hats on my weirdly shaped head, but I like this one a lot!
See.. not so bad..
How is that for a scary self pic, huh?
Trying to take a self pic and get your hat in it without looking any more like a dork than normal is hard. I look like the Blair Witch should have been after me in the other ones I took..
The last thing I found in the box is so clever!
She took a pic that I had posted of Chris and printed it off and put it in this cute frame.
Is that not the coolest?

What a great secret pal! That was so thoughtful of them to frame a pic of your Christopher. I've been meaning to knit up a Shedir. It is a cool pattern.
