I realized earlier today that I never posted this. It has been written for a while, but I just forgot to get it on the blog.
Since there is not much progress in the knitting department to show today, here are my..
Ten Favorite Comedies..
Sordid Lives. This is probably my favorite movie of all time. It is basically about a very disfunctional Southern family, but oh so much more
Steel Magnolias. The majority of my lexicon stems from this movie, as sad an idea as that is. I love it, though. The movie poster hangs in my bedroom, if that tells you the depth of my love.
Peggy Sue Got Married. It is all kinds of cheesy, but is good knitting fodder when nothing is waiting for you on the TiVo.
Pillow Talk. Rock and Doris. Sappy, but funny as all heck.
Sleepless in Seattle. It is the movie that singlehandedly brought sweats back into my wardrobe. It's just a good movie.
Shag. The 50s and 60s are my favorite era and the South is my favorite location, so it was natural for me to love this movie. The accents are horrid, but the movie is awesome.
Juno. I saw this movie with two of my favorite people, so I am not sure if it was the movie or the company that made me love it so much. I will most likely own it by the end of the week, so that I can memorize some of the lines.
Love Actually. I am a sap, ok. As if the rest of the movies haven't given that away.
9 to 5. Dolly Parton is the reason to watch this. And I love her for it. Plus, she is working it up for Broadway. Nice..
When Harry Met Sally. Yup. Still a sap.
What exactly does it say about me when most of these movies are at least 10 years old?
Stay tuned...

You've got half of mine! I have seen Love Actually, oh, about a zillion times and when I need to belly laugh and cry at the same time, When Harry Met Sally does it for me. Hugs to you and Chris!
