I have been kinda having a yucky week and have been a bit down. This week's Ten On list is perfect for me, especially right now. It is always great to take stock and realize that life isn't so bad!
Ten Things I Love About My Life..
My parents. I am so lucky in the parental department. I am prone to getting wild hairs (hey.. I am going to move 12 hours away! Yay!) and they just nod, groan and help me with it. Their love and support keeps me going, even when I am simply going crazy.
My friends. I have the greatest bunch of friends, hands down. A handful live near me, but the majority of them live all over the place. Each of them add some special spice to my life and I wish I were geographically closer to everybody.
My cat. Christopher is such a great companion and keeps me going, especially when he sits above me and licks my hair.
My knitting. It is a great thing in my life. Learning new stitches or new things always makes me happy. Plus, holding something that I made with my two hands is a big reward.
My knitting friends. You guys are my friends, but you share a part of my life that regular people don't. I learn from you and am inspired by you on a daily basis. And I appreciate you more than you know.
My current job. If this hotel were in another place, I would never leave. I have an amazing boss and cool coworkers. Sure, it's frustrating at times.. but every job is from time to time. If only I could move this hotel and the people in it to another place.
My future. I am in the middle of a very frustrating job hunt, but I know there is the most perfect job out there. Somewhere. And I am determined to find it, even if it takes me a few meantime jobs to do it.
My blog. This blog keeps me sane, plus I have met TONS of great people through it. Thanks, everybody, for staying with me. I really appreciate y'all!
My car. It's not much, but it is paid for and runs fairly well. Enough said.
My diploma. It took me long enough, but finally graduating is a huge thing that makes me happy.
ETA: Ok, so I have to add one more, even though it makes eleven..
My TiVo and DVR. They keep me watching the shows that I love without me having to remember when and where they happen. I just press a button and there they are, ready to watch.
Stay tuned...

Aw... I love your list!

Not finishing my degree is my one biggest regret in life. I was sooo close and didn't finish. Now I pretty much have to start all over again. I am proud of everyone who sticks it through and gets there diploma!

Hang in there! A door will open for you at the right time and it will be the door to the right job. Knitting helps me think through all things in life whether they be good or bad. I can't tell you how many problems have been solved while I had needles and thread in hand.
