Several people on Facebook have posted this video on their pages. I had been avoiding watching it for a while, but finally broke down and watched.
For some odd reason, I found it to be the funniest thing ever.
It could possibly say something about my current state of mind, but I have watched this more times that I care to admit and laugh loudly each time.
If you need a Thursday pick-me-up, enjoy.
Now, if I could only get Christopher to do something as amusing as this!
Stay tuned...

Wow, I loved that! I've already watched it twice and forwarded it on to my husband. I loved having a laugh out loud video... unfortunately I pressed play while I was on hold w/ customer service, and was still giggly when they came back on the line!

Sorry ... it's not funny.
But it IS an example of necessity being the mother of invention.
The force of the water hitting the cat's sensitive tongue is too painful, so the cat has figured out a way to slow the water, making it more easily drinkable.
Drinkable - in a drop by drop form - as the water drips off its head and nose. (Which is only an acceptable way to drink water if one is not concerned about its cleanliness.)
Towards the end of the video, the water falling on its ear - and ending up nowhere near its tongue - is a non-productive example of the cat not being all that bright. So cancel the Einstein Award for creativity.
(On the other hand, cats are not known for being overly productive, are they?)

P.S. The environmentally-conscious side of me is saying: What a waste of water!

I found it to be hilarious and could so see my cat doing that. There are times when she demands drinking from the faucet.
