Every Sunday night, a group of friends come over to my house to watch TV. It's a tradition that has been going on pretty much ever since I moved into my current apartment over a year ago.
It started with Cristi and Cameron, but we have evolved over the year. Adam spent Sundays with us, as have all the people that we have dated or wanted to introduce to the group. Several new people have joined us, like our knitter friend Rachel and my pal Jon. It's a fun group.
If I remember correctly, the reason that it started is because I was the only one with HBO and everybody wanted to watch Big Love. Since then, we have evolved and enjoy some other shows like The Amazing Race and True Blood. It is always fun to know that the weekend will end with a roomful of friends.
Tonight is sorta like an anniversary or sorts. Big Love has its season premiere this evening and I am very excited.
It's like getting back to basics with my group of friends.
