With the start of a new year and a new outlook on the blog, I decided to try and start sharing what I am thankful for again.
All of last week, I have been really beating myself up over something. I let a friend down and it has been eating at me. He had asked me to do something for him and I did not get it done. It caused him to have some problems and I really regret that. Disappointing people is one of my fears and the one thing that I worry about constantly. Hopefully, the hurt feelings will blow over soon and we will be back to normal.
That being said, I have been really thankful for my friends this week. After spending some quality time with Cameron on our NYE road trip, getting some fun Christmas and NYE texts, seeing people before the holidays, getting fun emails and Facebook messages and just knowing they are there.. it is hitting me how lucky I am to have such great people in my life.
That makes me smile, despite knowing that one of my friends is not smiling at me right now.
So what made YOU smile this week?
Stay tuned...

My son The Squid. He's one of the few things in my world that is right and good for me right now. The year is off to a tough start but I hope it's going to get better soon.

hmm, one smile I had last week, was made by a contact agreeing that I am '' She who must be obeyed''!!!
as to how you are upset by letting down a friend, well...........it does happen. nothing I can type here could really help.
If you want an actual chat, send me a contact number and convenient times that I can call you.
another post you asked how we saw in 2010>>
Phil laid on couch watching tv, I was sat at computer reading blogs and knitting. We heard fireworks going off, greeted one another, then returned to our ''activities''. :)) :))
glad you were out and partying.
hope you can manage to blog once a week.

I certainly hope he didn't ask you to feed his cat. (ok, I'm going to feel real bad if that is the case, but it was an attempt to lighten the mood.) It happens. That doesn't make it easier to deal with, but understand that it is something that happens from time to time and all you can do is apologize, move on, and hope for an opportunity to mend the relationship.
Smile of the week, wow, it's been a rough week. I thoroughly enjoy those moments when the girls are being silly and everyone is getting along. There have been a few times the last few evenings and it really just makes the day better.
